Mettle is a small business marketing agency based in Texas. This site, its articles and its free tools are provided for general informational purposes.

You may use the content here for your own business. You may not resell it, republish it as your own, or scrape it to build a competing product.

The free tools

Our calculators, graders and scorecards produce estimates based on the information you enter and on general industry benchmarks. They are not an audit, an appraisal, or professional financial advice.

Scores and recommendations are directional. Use them to decide where to look, not as the sole basis for a business decision.

The scoring logic behind the tools is proprietary and is not published.

Accuracy of information

We research the numbers we publish and cite the source where we can. Data changes, and third party research can be revised or retired.

If you spot something that looks wrong, email us and we will check it.

Your information

When you submit a form or a tool, we collect what you enter so we can send you results and follow up. How we handle that information is covered in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to share any business information you enter.

Intellectual property

The Mettle name, logo, illustrations, written content and tool design are ours. Brand kit assets may be used under the terms shown on the brand kit page.

Liability

We provide this site as is. To the extent allowed by law, Mettle is not liable for business decisions made based on the content or tools here.
