Med spaSeasonality

The med spa year, month by month.

Demand moves on a predictable calendar. Most practices spend against it evenly anyway.

January arrives with resolutions and body goals, which makes it the strongest month for weight programs, memberships and treatment plans that take months to show results.

Spring belongs to weddings and events. Patients book backward from a date, so campaigns need to run in February and March for treatments that need multiple sessions before May.

Summer is the softest stretch in most markets, and it is the right time for maintenance messaging, memberships and any treatment that suits patients staying out of the sun less. Resurfacing and pigment work move to fall for the same reason.

Then the last quarter, which is two things at once. Holiday party season drives quick visible treatments, and remaining flexible spending balances push medical adjacent services. Plan the year in these four blocks and shift budget between them instead of running a flat monthly number that fits none of them.

The short version

  • Book campaigns backward from event dates, not from the month.
  • Sell memberships in the soft months, not the busy ones.
  • Move resurfacing and pigment work to fall and winter.
