The dental reactivation campaign nobody runs.

Your overdue hygiene list is the cheapest production available to you.

Every practice has a list of patients who stopped coming without ever leaving. They moved jobs, had a baby, missed one appointment and never rebooked. They still consider you their dentist.

Pull the list of patients seen in the last three years with no future appointment. Sort by last visit date and by production history, because a patient who had crown work is worth a personal call before the text sequence.

Then run three touches over three weeks. A text with a booking link, an email a few days later, and a phone call for the high value segment. Reference the actual last visit date, because a generic we miss you message reads as a mailshot and gets ignored.

November is the strongest month to run it, since patients with remaining insurance benefits have a deadline and a financial reason to act. Track it as its own channel and compare cost per filled chair against what paid search charges you for a new patient in your city. The comparison usually reorders the budget.

The short version

  • Segment by last visit and production, then use three touches.
  • Reference the real last visit date, not a generic message.
  • Run it in November when benefits are expiring.
